i got SO emotional and cried seeing her at the end of the ceremony.

my mom listened to a new day has come all throughout her high risk pregnancy with me, where she even went temporarily blind. some of my earliest memories are of listening to celine in my moms car and of taking the cds up to my room to play on my little portable cd player while i drew. i will love you forever celine, you are the voice of a lifetime

After watching her biopic, and seeing what she has been through, listening to her sing at the opening of the olympics literally had me in tears. I am so happy that she has been able to find her voice again, even through the blinding pain she deals with on a daily basis. Celine Dion is truly amazing. ❤
