East Bay LGBT Teens Gather At 25th Annual Gay Prom

Teens in Alameda had a blast at the 25th Annual Gay Prom held at Chabot College. It was hosted by the Hayward Lambda Youth Project.

Hey so I was the girl in the red dress all these comments are unsettling the event was for people to feel safe no matter what back round you came from whether it be straight, gay, lasbian, trans etc we all come together to put our differences aside I can see that most of these 14 comments are all older generation who don't understand it really disgusts me what you are all saying act like adults because we are the future we are going to be taking care of your generation when you guys need help so please don't discriminate and remember we all bleed the same blood and that most of my people die everyday because of discrimination and I too even fear for my life on a daily basis because of my gender identity so let's grow up please and be respectful and I'm the girl with the red dress and black angel wings look how happy I was and look how happy everyone else was remember that.

Way to segregate yourselves from the rest of your class. Imagine a "Straight Prom" im sure plenty would have issues with that. Prom a school dance there is no reason to separte based on sexual preference or any nonsense like that i thought segregation was in America past seems we are doomed to repeat the past.
