I live in US but best thing about Mexico is quality of food for very small price, and when you see a random taco stand in the street with a HUGE crowd surrounding it, go there because it will not disappoint!

Good perspective on relating your experiences in Mexico. After having traveled all throughout the county over the last many years (25 Mexico states), I can agree with what you are saying with only a couple of minor clarifications.

From my experiences, I have gotten sick exactly 2 times in 20 years of traveling through Mexico. Once from a China buffet place in a mall's food court and once from another fast food place in another mall's food court. But NEVER from eating Mexican food or drinking something with ice in it.

Lastly, I just wanted to mention that not all of Mexico is warm, sunny, and tropical. Most of the interior land is located on a higher plateau. If (for example) you go to Mexico City in January, you better bring a warm coat, hat, and gloves. Many of the colonial cities will be cool to cold in the early mornings and especially in the winter months.

What a warm and charmful video. Being a Mexican that has lived his whole life here I thank you for this video. Regarding the narcos and insecurity issues that over the past decade have afflicted out society, it is true that almost all the tourist spots are relatively safe. Mexico City could be a 20 million people mayhem, nevertheless it is the melting pot for all the country's cuisine, not to mention the museums and many more attractions. It would be nice to have a Cd Mx ( mexico city) vid. Best wishes!

I'm from Colombia and sometime ago in a travel to the US I decided to visit Mexico for a week, it was amazingly different from what I thought It would be, I mean I'm latino too but the differences between mexico, central american countries and the south american ones can shock u a lot.

I was born in L.A. but currently live in Tijuana and the truth is that Mexico in genrak is like any other country, you have your nice areas and then your shifty ones too.

Thank you for speaking well of Mexico you should visit the Mexican Tuscany coined by Anthony Bourdain.. they're the vinyards in Valle de Guadalupe you'll amazed at them and the great wine they have, I can go on but it'll be best for you to visit.

I visited one of those timeshare condos(through a friend) in 2007.They always wanted to schedule a personal presentation, but I always found that I was busy..and not available. Took the public bus to the actual town and bought a few things at Wal-Mart to cook in the condo later. The bus was very inexpensive. I had a great time meeting the people that worked there..and they were really nice. I asked the teens what radio station they listened to and would listen to it..and got on very well with them. Please, Americans..don't look down at the workers. They are hard working, wonderful people. Visited Chichen Itza on a package tour where we visited a sink hole and a great restaurant in the forest. I've studied the culture and enjoyed my time there.

My Mexico! Great tips for tourists. I would add being careful to bring cash because the taxis and your guides. I would recommend anyone to visit in November by The day of the dead to Guanajuato city or in Easter.

Perhaps you should visit the "Pueblos Magicos" (Magical towns) which are culture rich towns with a mystical feel, and also cheaper than the main tourist areas.
Weather is not the same in all Mexico. In central States the weather is very mild with cold winters.
And yeah, in Mexico nobody drinks tap water, we buy bottled water.
