The reason why I think he looks "younger" is because it's an age appropriate hair style. Before his hair made him seem like he was trying too hard to be "young" so it made him seem outdated and older. He looks great with this hair cut, I couldn't be happier for him!

I think the reason why it makes him look younger is because this is more 'mature' than the old one so it suits his actual age better. Like with the old one there was a certain discrepancy between his hair and his age which emphasized his age...He was basically too old for that hairstyle, I think.
