I've been using it for the past 3 days, treated myself for my birthday and im happy with the upgrade from the a6400. Paired with my 35mm f1.8 and 18 - 105 f4 it does the job i need it to do. I had to factor in cost and im not bringing in enough clients yet to make the affordable jump to full frame just yet. Thanks for your content though I might have to go and get this lens on the next payday

I recently switched from XT-5/X-H2s to A6700 with 16-55 f2.8 lens and its just incredible how quick and accurate AF is. Even EVF is decent and I don't feel it'a a downgrade from my former Fuji cameras.

Hi, thanks for the video. I'd like to point out a VERY good ALTERNATIVE to this lens: the 18-135mm Sony. Why do I recommend this lens over the 16-55mm? 1. it is 1/2 the weight; 2. it is 1/2 the length/width; 3. it is 1/2 the price (400-665$ depending); 4. image quality is certainly on a par; 5. the zoom distance is twice the length; 6. ergonomically it is much more comfortable with the small a6700 camera body. 7. it is much easier to use with a gimbal, but actually for a gimbal I'd recommend buying the sigma 30mm 1.4 lens ($270). I've used the 18-135mm lens for a long time and love it's flexibility. The lens is NOT as low light as the 15-55mm (it is about at 4-5.). Again, I strongly recommend this lens :).

This is my go-to for photography. For videography, it is the sony a6700 paired with sony 18-105.

I use my a6600 with the same Sony 16-55G. Usually will pack either a Sony 15mmF1.5G or Zeiss 24F1.8 or for long shots the Sony 70-350G. Mix and match to cover the situation.

I'm just wondering whether to buy a Sony A6700 with a 16-55Gand 70-350 G lens or head towards the A7IV. photos on vacation, often urban landscapes after the blue hour, filming. I do it as an amateur and I'm afraid of high prices of full frame lenses, but I care about good quality photos and videos.

How about overheating? Many have said cant use it for client work since it over heats even with 60 fps clips inside 20 mins 😢
