Using transformations and a table to graph absolute value equations

👉 Learn how to graph absolute value equations when we have a value of b other than 1. B will affect our horizontal shift as well as horizontal stretch compress. We will do this by first identifying the axis of symmetry and using a table to plot the points. However, once we have an understanding of what the graph looks like we will move to graphing using the parent graph and transformations. To do this we will need to understand what different types of transformations we have that affect the graph. These transformations include, reflections, shifting, horizontal stretch, compression, and vertical stretch and compression. We will then discuss how to identify the domain and range from the graph.

praise Jesus thanks, great job learn a lot from you, should the line of symmetry be 3 instead of positive? the reason i asked is that in another video of yours, i saw where the line of symmetry was 2 and not -2. just checking

What if f(x) and g(x) is given with f(x) having only an absolute value?
