valuable analysis, may you kindly enhance the sound or use a better mic for the sake of sound clarity, if possible.

Volume is a bit low. 200% volume in VLC worked for me! (youtube-dl, open -a vlc [filename], Cmd-UpArrow). (I was wondering whether volume-levelling is a standard feature of upload to Youtube, and if not, why not?) I came here after watching your review of Odoo. (I'm reconsidering becoming an Odoo integrator, after abandoning the idea since 2007.) On that note, one of the European integrators recently spoke of a number of clients migrating from SAP to Odoo! I would imagine the more rapid integration of Odoo and easier editing of Python code can lead to a much higher success rates, for where Odoo is a good fit.

Well said. Would love to see a detailed study of the Lidl case. What's mind boggling is that it took 7 years and 500 billion euros to realize that it was a failure. The question in my mind is: Why couldn't it be realized earlier and the losses cut short ? Was there any official reason given as to why the project was shelved?

Your five 'Reasons For Failure' are common to most system implementations, particularly linkage (or lack) of system to strategy. Nice work :)

As a user of the Lidl ERP system and also invlovled in the introduction of SAP, I can say that LIDL's ERP system was customised and better than SAP could ever be (or be customised). You cannot beat a customised system. SAP is for companies that do not have an ERP or have a bad ERP. Lidl's ERP and cloud based information system was tailor made. There was no way ever SAP coud beat that. The decision to introduce SAP was a wrong one from the start.
