MEGALOPOLIS Trailer 2 (2024) Adam Driver

MEGALOPOLIS is an epic Roman fable set in a modern America. The city of New Rome must change, which leads to conflicts between the brilliant artist Cesar Catilina (Adam Driver) and his adversary, the mayor Franklyn Cicero (Giancarlo Esposito). While one dares to take the leap into a utopian, idealistic future, the other clings to a backward-looking status quo characterized by greed, vested interests and partisan warfare. Between them stands Julia Cicero (Nathalie Emmanuel) , the mayor's daughter, whose love for Caesar has divided her loyalties and forces her to find out what she believes humanity really deserves.

So this guy has got to have Matt Damon's agent since he gets the big, big roles, just like Damon does. I was always amazed that short little Damon got The Bourne Identity. Robert Ludlum's character was an intellectual, 6'4" and a total badass. I guess that's the kind of Hollywood agent you wanna have.

Ich liebe Filme mit höchster Bildgewalt und einer Story, der grossteil der Leute da draussen sagt diesem Film ungesehen jetzt schon einen der Megaflops des Jahrhunderts voraus. Das Problem hierbei ist wahrscheinlich, weil alle Marvel oder DC oder Lalala Disney "wir singen jeden Film kaputter als kaputt denn wir haben bis heute nicht kapiert, das singen in Filmen einfach nicht mehr Zeitgemäss ist" Freaks soviel an Gehirn verloren haben durch diesen ganzen Superheldenüberfluss, das jede Art von möglicher Geschichte in einem Film zur totalen Überforderung des Zuschauers führt. So sagt man dann lieber, der Film ist / wird ein Flop, als das man die Wahrheit sagt, unsere Zuschauer sind einfach ZU DUMM um diesen Film zu verstehen, weil er möglicherweise eine Geschichte hat, und nicht nur aus Bumm Bumm, Schlacht Schlacht, Knutsch und Singalindingdangdong besteht. Ich werde diesem Film wenn er in einem Kino in meiner Nähe anläuft eine Chance geben und werde mir die Zeit nehmen, ohne Handy in der Hand der ganzen Laufzeit des Films der Geschichte zu folgen, in der Hoffnung das er AUS MEINER SICHT doch echt gut geworden ist, Seinerzeit ist dasselbe mit CLOUD ATLAS passiert, ein Super Film, den einfach keiner verstanden hat. Kein Woke, kein Digga, kein Ich küss dein Auge.... Naja... Wir werden sehen. Ich urteile erst über den Film wenn ICH ihn gesehen habe. Freue mich jedenfalls drauf.
