Here in southern Ontario we have the same weather and temperatures you have in southern Texas 20 degrees Celsius probably 75 for you 🥵past our temperature records, not normal for end of March, normally 8 degrees Celsius. But to answer your question yes the glad is good for long distance driving, softer ride. Better then my wife’s Jeep Cherokee 🇨🇦👍🏻👍🏻

Love driving mine. I have not been on a trip yet but my windy country roads are kinda fun too. It handles great and comfy while doing it!

I’m surprised by the power. When I first got mine with 30 or so miles on it, the highway acceleration seemed almost absent past 70mph. I guess I was babying it lol because now at 1100 miles, this thing moves when I need it to past 70 mph. This could also be testimony to the 8 speed as well.

We have found it very comfortable making runs up to Ft Worth from the lower Rio Grande Valley [call it 500 miles each way] wife finds it much more comfortable than the Tacoma. As to visablity it is ok, worst I ever had was the FJ Cruiser could easily loose a suburban in it. Little more road noise especially in the wind [like today].

I had some wheels and tires in the bed. I noticed the how much the rear squats. I’ve got to remember it’s not a full sized truck. Will be interesting to see how it tows a utility trailer.

Thanks for the video man I got my gladiator about 3 months ago and love this thing. I have noticed though Atleast for me that when I’m on the highway and it’s windy outside it definitely throws the gladiator around a bit but nothing crazy. It was between a new ram or the gladiator and I can say I’m definitely glad I went with this our family loves it. Soon we will be taking it on a road trip from florida to Colorado so that will definitely be the test haha. Thanks again man take care!

Planning to make Ohio to Nevada run later this year. Sounds like it’ll be fun. Will need to invest in a bed cover beforehand.

WOW... do you live on the side of a mountain? 15 mpg mixed driving? just... WOW... cuz I DO live on the side of a mountain in a city... and I get 17-20

I drive it 500miles a week. It’s definitely not the best truck for highway driving. A lot of wind noise over the top (hardtop), steering isn’t spot on, but other than those two, it’s like any other truck. But if comparing to say a Tacoma or f150, the biggest difference is the yotA and ford are almost silent (new 2020+ trucks) and they drive straight without going side to side, the gladiator wonders a bit of compared to the other trucks.

Not to me, I wouldn't trade it for my Laramie. Ride doesn't compare.

I’m still disappointed that my mileage isn’t better. I get just over 16mpg. I got that or a little better on my Ram 1500 4X4.

You never talked about the steering on the highway. I’ve heard a lot about wandering, wobbling and vibration.
