Just a brief video on how to prune a bonsai tree using the clip & grow method. I use a siberian elm pre-bonsai as an example.

Not even the most expert bonsai channels on here could make it as simple. Thank you!

Well done...I've watched lots of "clip and grow" videos and I think you pretty much nailed it...Keep them coming BB...Sounds like you might be experiencing a little "zombie apocalypse"...Thanks...

Thank you for making it simple. I have watched so many videos on YouTube just for the simple explanation of how to cut a branch, and where to get a new branch in a particular direction. Subscribed to your channel and will check out the other vids :)

Thank you for your very informative videos. I have 1 year old willow i grew from a seed, its very bushy, is it time to prune it or I should wait when its 2 year old . First time for me . Thank you 😊

Is it not too early to prune if you want a trunk to be thicker?

Thanks for the interesting topo, friend. I' m just a newbie in this amazing art, and I have three of them just started growing as well. Some of their branches, very tiny all of them, are at the level of the soil, and logically they have to be cut. Questions: is it right? And at what age and with what frequency should I start Prune and Grow? Last one: they need to be feeded or soil changed, I guess. Which approach you use, please? Thanks friend

How do i find out what kind of bonsai tree i have? Someone shipped me a bonsai tree, anonymously. So now, I'm a bonsai daddy and I'm trying to research. This was helpful

I have a bonsai I’ve grown from seed that’s about 6-7 months old. It’s doing great and the trunk is almost the width of a pencil. Should I trim the branches to keep it small, or wait until it’s bigger before I start trimming??

I am confused. Your method is what I have been doing but I have been seeing videos that say that this method stunts the growth of the tree?
I have been looking into truck chopping.

Where do you cut on the branch? Like under a node or just above?
