Daniel Schmachtenberger is a rare exemplar of a general thinker, who is not on a track to ideologically catch you. He is like a box full of elaborate information he brings out not to convince but to inform, which is also a bit sterile, something Jordan Peterson never is, also a rare exemplar, but one with the dark side of ignoring the facts about the climate-problem. But both are driven by truthful and unpretentious talk and meaning, which also is rare these days.

Great Schmaschtenberger always picks up my tab when we eat out. What a dude. I asked him once why do you always carry wads of cash with you and he said in case a homeless guy asks me for money I hand him a 100 dollar bill. Has random people walk in his house and get in his fridge, they take a shower, damn, some people even moved in and he hasn't said a word to them! What a guy!
