Are you Using Autocomplete Wrong in Xcode - Xcode 16 Tips

How does Autocomplete work in Xcode? Is it slowing you down? Is Autocomplete giving you bad suggestions?

I find myself getting stuck with Autocomplete in Xcode 16 (and Xcode 15) where it does not show me the correct method. To be honest, I thought I was going crazy, but it turns out that Xcode is now grouping suggetions and hiding the methods that I'm looking for.

This means two things:
1. You need to be aware the groupings exist
2. You need to remember that some methods are overloaded with the inputs you want

If you can keep track of those two things, then you'll be able to use Autocomplete even when the suggestions are incorrect.
