Ms Syahida Johan from the School of Communication & Creative Arts is the Winner of the Originality category for UOW Malaysia KDU STAR Award Challenge for 2022.

The focus of the STAR Award is on academic evolution that sees transformative learning practices being implemented across the institution. The STAR award for 2022 is based on the initiatives put forth by academics towards developing a positive academic culture. These could be transforming their courses to meet the changing student needs, or research to grow knowledge in their field or their contribution towards their discipline.
