Quick correction: The actual “Roman Calendar” was the one preceding the Julian until 46BC. When you say we’re still in Rome, you mean the Frankish reinstatement of Rome, not the real continuation of Rome which was achieved through the Byzantine Empire. Constantine had moved the center of Christianity to Constantinople, and many Orthodox Churches continue to use the Julian Calendar. The Julian Calendar is really the calendar of the Church.

I know it's not exactly on the topic of this documentary but to paint a bigger picture in your minds and see how vast and complex is the Mystery of Babylon (Rome) please read the book "The Two Babylons" by Alexander Hislop. Maybe in some other languages is also under the name "From Babylon to Rome".
