Does Your Body "Waste" Protein Over 30g Per Meal? The 100g Protein Study is discussed on today's #AskPhilip to answer the question: how many meals with protein do I really need to eat each day to optimize muscle growth?

Here is the full question:

Is it true that the body's Muscle Protein synthesis threshold is 20-30g per meal? If so I should ideally consume protein in 5 meals to reach my goal of 140g... At this point that will be easily done if needed but I'd rather just do 3 meals per day for sure. I know the most important thing is macros and training, but if this information is accurate it means now my body is just using max 90g of protein for muscle synthesis and the other 60g is then used for energy, same as carbs or fats, so if that were the case I'd definitely split up the protein into 5 takes. And how far away should these intakes be?
