Let me just say you are a very wise young lady. As a 40 yo I can tell you that it seems like life starts at 30. Oprah would say 50. When I tell someone to “just have fun” it means exactly what you are currently doing, have fun with friends, excercise, try new life experiences, understand what you are seeking out of a relationship so you are drawing in and dating with purpose(for some that is sexual) while others such as yourself it’s a monogamous relationship. Have fun means don’t pressure yourself in the process. You are definitely on the right path! Age means nothing if you are living your life to the fullest with purpose.

I admire and like your view on looking for your life partner with integrity. I think you can date more than one person at a time if you are not sleeping with any of them. Friendship first is the best way to go. If you stipulate that you are not doing anything wrong you then get the opportunity to meet and get to know and meet more people. I can't tell you how much this video helped me. I recently got out of a three year relationship and had to move two hours away to a new city and I know absolutely no one- I'm still in the early months of trying to find stability again with living on my own.
