Play PC Games On Your Nintendo Switch | moonlight-nx TUTORIAL

Hillo folks! New tutorial here! How to play PC games on your Nintendo Switch! This is done through Moonlight-NX. A port of the "Moonlight" game streaming app for the Nintendo Switch done by rock88. This requires an NVIDIA GPU. If you don't have one then don't worry I'll release a tutorial on another way to stream PC games to your Switch in the near future. Running the mods shown here will NOT result in a ban. I personally rarely ever exit out of CFW and have continued to play online and use the eShop for over a year. Good tutorial, although I’ve already been doing this for quite a while now. It’s great to see many others are doing the same now. I can play games like custom zombies on waw directly on my switch with no problem while being anywhere around the house flawlessly. It’s definitely a way cheaper alternative to the steamdeck. I literally just got a 3, 000 dollar computer so all the games I play are beautiful in terms of graphics while on my switch. If you got a good pc or even mediocre I highly recommend it. I’m not much of a pc gamer myself, but this method has changed my experience dramatically!

For those with a Switch capable of installing Android; I've personally had much better stability and performance using Moonlight on Android.

Great video, i am getting an "failure to launch stream" error on my switch. The games work find on the pc, but not the stream..any ideas?

It keeps saying bad connection for me. I've tried different bitrates and still nothing, I am using the latest drivers and GFE, I've been basically on top of my router, using windows 10 and I'm pretty sure I have the latest atmosphere/firmware. I'm at my wits end! I wanted to do this because sitting up for longer than about an hour puts me in more pain than I care to be in due to back problems this also wrecks havoc on my knees, so the idea is that I can lay down while playing my PC games and I can't afford to spend a grand on a steamdeck (I live in AU) or any of the alternatives which are still expensive, I have a hacked switch and a hacked wii u (I hacked them myself) but I can't get either of them working. So any help would be greatly appreciated because a lot of my favourite games are on my PC but I cant play anything for longer than an hour.

Does this method still work? As of february 2023, Moonlight doesn't rely on GeForce GameStream anymore due to Nvidia's termination of the service.

It works for the switch lite as well.I had to install sunshine on my pc to get it to work. FYI they made it now possible to have Andriod work on all models of Switch

When I try to pair the devices it wants me to enter a 4-digit number. On switch it says the number is 0000, but it doesn't work.

You don't need to install Android on ur switch to get moonlight. If u have ur switch jailbroken u can install the switch version of moonlight without the need of Android.

It's saying bad connection when i tap a game to run in applications in moonlight. I hear the sound of the game that it's trying to launch and then it goes back to the application screen. So what do I do?

I manage to stream with my switch but only a few buttons work to go to the menu and just move the mouse, I can't play anything because the joycons don't work as controls
