'Citadel' by Subwoofer (me) [GD x NCS The Album Level] [2.2]

Howdy :)
I am so excited to show you guys another level so quickly after DIOMA is finished! I was absolutely stoked to make a level featuring a new song from two of my favorite artists growing up. I wanted to be a lot more dynamic and use much more unique gameplay elements when designing this, as it's been a while since I've worked with a level with such a heavy drop. So I incorporated a lot of traps and screen ripping and fakeouts to match that energy.
Very glad I was invited to work on this project! Everyone has done amazing so far and the rest of the levels look outstanding as well. Look forward to the upcoming levels, and I hope you guys like Citadel!
Also, this is like the 4th purple castle I've built LOL.

I feel like I'm one of the few with this opinion, but I love the split part. The sync is fantastic and the gameplay is still easy to read.
I don't get why so many hate it. It's the same as normal GD, but non important parts of the screen are blocked. Once you learn it, it flows beautifully

I really DO not understand how people dislike this, the gameplay is fun amd that is coming from someone who dosent even have that many demons. Only thing I dislike is the hitboxes in the mini wave section at around 60

This level is incredibly well-designed! I like how it's heavily themed around a medieval castle aesthetic, with excellent use of decorations that perfectly match the atmosphere. The integration with the song is spot-on, creating a flawless sync that enhances the gameplay experience! :D

Apparently, boom kitty already have 3 event levels that uses his songs. And all of that levels are my favorite event level(citadel, heave ho, gd gangster rap)
