I'm jealous of the person who stumbles across this channel when the car is finished and just binge watches it in one go.

Come to Australia boys. We'll give you some broken cars to drive and a lovely English breakfast tea.

The floor testing of the loom with all the bits attached was quite impressive.

I stopped celebrating birthdays and now celebrate living until the next Binky upload.

When are you going to admit that you finished Binky 4 years ago, have been racing it, wrecked and rebuilt it twice

A Project Binky vijayo laced with AvE references.
What’s not to love?

Uncle Bumblefuk will be so proud.

Descending to the deep abyss of the electronics hell and coming back unscathed and victorious. This Is truly a feat of masters.

It’s getting so close now I can almost taste it, just another 3 or 4 more years and it’ll be finished.

The unsung hero of this series is that step drill bit. Hundreds of holes of what appears to be the same bit. Wish mine lasted that long.

I can’t believe you actually plugged in and tested every single component connected to the wiring loom. You’re madmen. But I suppose going off the rest of the build, nothing is done half assed, and I love it. Jolly good show

This takes me back. My brother 3 years older than did work on his old Hillman Arrow, shorted it out and melted down the full length of the loom, including stork controls. I re-wired it all for him over two days. It was my first introduction to auto-wiring. I was 14 at the time. The experience taught me not to be afraid of large bundles of wires.

Your jokes - visual and otherwise are still the best of the internet.
Thanks

It may end up looking like a car, but it is in fact an enormous number of interconnected brackets, skinned to look like a Mini.

People look at me funny when my phone pops up a YouTube alert and I yell “New Binky!!!”

On a related note, as a wiring guy, this episode was near and dear to my heart.

Following along with your work on the loom is almost a bit ASMR for me
I think it's your patience, and you're so methodical - just working through the chaos, one connector at a time :)

After tons of wonky videos of youtube car „builders“ who’s most professional tool is a hammer, it’s always refreshing to see two professionals at work building a real car and not a rolling death trap.
