Good plan is to not have a car payment, own an older car and use that money to DCA invest. Then save and buy the new car with your profits. If you want to be really smart buy an older car that’s no longer depreciating.

You don't need lots of cash to get into equities, it's dirt cheap. Hardly need anything to start with index funds / ETFs. Also with large-scale adoption of fractional shares for retail investors you don't need much for individual stocks either.
