Jeff Bezos is forced to eat a fat slice of humble pie and Elon Musk's SpaceX is serving it up flaming hot! 🚀 Bon Appetit

Amazon's Project Kuiper, led by Jeff Bezos, faces a critical challenge with the FCC deadline looming—placing 1,618 satellites in low Earth orbit by July 2026. Simultaneously, shareholders from Amazon's pension fund are taking legal action against both the company and Bezos individually. The lawsuit alleges that Bezos prioritized personal differences with Elon Musk over shareholder interests by not opting for SpaceX's established and dependable Falcon 9 rockets for Project Kuiper. This convergence of legal and regulatory pressures adds a high-stakes dimension to the race for Project Kuiper's satellite deployment.

I would love to see Elon Musk being the host for the live stream of the Kipper Lunch. Like : "hey Jeff! I put your SATs on orbit! You're welcome. 😂 " I can't stop laughing about all this!!

The productivity of Elon Musk Companies is Elon's scientific engineering mind, research and development system, business management system, and factory system, combined. That is all there is to it, an understatement, I guess. The most important to success is Elon builds teams and listens to them.
Jeff Bezos has been successful in a very different way, he sets performance goals and penalizes failure. He relishes his power.
They are diametrically opposed.
You have done fine research and nailed the story.

Monopolies may be "bad" but Elon is providing service to the undeserved no one else would even attempt.

It was inevitable. If a product is good, it speaks for itself. JB, is a classic case of pride before the fall. Also note that Elon does not wish BO any ill. As he recently stated NY times talk. He wouldn't press the delete button on BO if he had an opportunity! Thats speaks volumes! I wish Amazon all the best! - Michael, from Lusaka Zambia Southern Africa.

Mr. Jeff Bezos is a great man with broad mind . He is supporting Space X . Humanity needs more great figures like him in order for the world to become a better place

It just shows the difference between a brilliant engineer who designs and builds stuff, really big stuff, and a successful bookseller who sells other peoples stuff.

Although competition is good, I feel differently when it comes to Starlink. Nothing is perfect but Elon provides quality, value products without all the BS. Try to find that with another company.

My guess is that Kuiper's two satellites are early prototypes, not preproduction samples. They don't seem to have any propulsion...something that production sats will obviously have. (If you look at Celestrak, you can see that they are slowly losing altitude.) SpaceX can launch them within a few months, I'm sure it's Kuiper that isn't ready until 2025.
The funny thing is that if Amazon cites delays and tries to cancel the ULA launches, then ULA will sue Blue Origin for the delay in engine delivery. So they're stuck with that bad purchase.

I've had a positive opinion on Elon for ~15 years and overall my view of him trends up and up.

*Cristina, it's more like he had to eat a case of humble pie.*

Sounds like billionaire politics to me, and agree with you that the numbers don't add up. As another comment said unless the FCC was to grant an extension I don't see how Bezos can make the deadline. Great info as always J,

Yeah, I think the lawsuit is still valid cause as of the filing they can get documentation from BO showing if they did in fact not include SpaceX for reason. So, regardless of the current situation, the judge will go based on the facts not the perception of them. lol

I suspect Bezos 3 contacted flights with SpaceX has more to do with one of his Amazon investors suing Bezos for not considering SpaceX as a launch provider. So you are spot on. SpaceX cannot launch many Bezos SATs, as it would take away SpaceX ability to launch their own SATS, which affects SpaceX investors.

"Jeff Bezos eats humble pie..., "It's a good day". LMAO!!! I agree.

The numbers don't lie. Besos messed up.

Yep you called it. I agree, competition would be great but SpaceX is like Netflix for now, ahead of its time and it will take a while for the rest to catch up.

I agree with you but the FCC wants competition and could very well issue a new or revised license if there is no other viable competitor at that time.
