I’ve never heard of this manual underwriting! It took us twenty years of marriage to finally be able to buy a house with my husband’s VA home loan. I wish we’d known the other possibilities before renting, and paying someone else’s mortgage, since we left the Army in 2011!😮

I have been liquid for years. Zero credit cards since I paid off nearly 10, 000 in debt about 30 years ago. I have bad credit bc I refuse to finance my life. Believe it or not, they lower your credit score if you don't use credit cards. Not financing has it's struggles but I'm free, sleep well at night and owe no one. That feels awesome.

I fully agree, my only debt is my mortgage, further I live on my income and try to put something aside every month for bigger purchases. I never use my creditcard, it's just a backup.

That is right about the manual underwriting cause my brother did that. I totally agree with what you say. Debt and the worry makes you sick and you can't really ever have peace. Well, that's all over now. It can be hard but it is such a relief to go to bed at night and not owe anyone. Maybe just a little but I definitely keep up and pay no interest. What wonderful advice especially for young people. Why is this not taught in school? I guess retail would not like that!

After drinking long term & stopping its easy to think' "No diffrence is happening". It took two years before the happy self aware & others, again thoughts appear. Two years then the proper growth!!

Fica scores were created by banks to keep you in debt, as soon as you realize that, all the interest you save by not being in debt can pay for what you want in cash you just need to be patient

I was able to get my self out of debt by taking out 2 debit cards. One card for paying monthly bills the other for daily expenses. Credit cards are so easy to use and you don’t realize you’ve gotten yourself in debt.

Omg yes! If you don’t have the cash to buy it you may not need it. All we owe are medical bills. No credit cards none! Cars are paid. They get me to where I need to go. We are debt free.
