Fight Fire With Fire Guitar Lesson - Metallica

In this Fight Fire With Fire guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this incredible opening track off of Metallica's Ride The Lightning.

The tuning is standard tuning.

The acoustic guitar intro consists of at least four separate guitars. So what I have done is made a solo acoustic guitar arrangement of that intro so that it would be possible to play it in a normal live setting. It of course is not possible to play it exactly like the album, but I think the arrangement I did gets the point across reasonably well.

From there we launch into some of the most extreme thrash metal riffs of Metallica's career. I will take you through each riff of the song in the order that it appears.

After all of the rhythm guitar work, I will then show you how to play Kirk Hammett's guitar solo note-for-note. Lots of crazy licks in this one!

Then finally, I will show you how to play both Hetfield and Hammett's parts of the harmony guitar section note-for-note. It is really cool to see how they put it together.
