In this video, let's talk about all the free rewards you can expect to get in the 5.0 update. I'll cover everything in one video, including total free pulls, anniversary rewards, free weapons, and a free character.

Let's start with the amount of free pulls in version 5.0.

I've already made a video about it in the past, but we've had some changes since then. Initially, we were supposed to get around 113 pulls or 18,115 primogems. So, this is the amount I included in the video, but right after I posted it, the number of primogems increased to an additional 95.

And yesterday, we got another update from Team Mew. According to them, now we will get 110 free pulls in the 5.0 update. Minus 3 pulls is not much, considering that it might change since we are still in the beta.

We will get 110 free pulls in the whole 5.0 update, with the first half featuring 64 of them.

So, you will have 64 pulls for Mualani and Kazuha banners in the first phase and 46 pulls for Kinich and Raiden Shogun in the second.

After Natlan's release, we might get a bit more or even a bit less, but still, the number of free pulls in 5.0 will be enough to save for a 5-star character.

And the reason is the anniversary.

This time, the anniversary will be in the second half of 5.0. To be precise, it will happen on September 28.

The rewards will probably be the same as the previous ones.

Confirmed rewards include a daily login event. Throughout 7 days, we will get 10 pulls and some other materials.

On top of that, we will get 4 mails every day, each containing 400 primogems, which will be another 10 pulls in 4 days.

On top of that we will get a free pet and gadget that releases stuff.

These are all the confirmed rewards from the anniversary. Of course, we can speculate that now that Genshin has Wuthering Waves as a competitor, they might give us more rewards. But I advise you not to expect more than we've already gotten from the previous anniversaries.

Just a quick note: anniversary rewards are included in the total pulls I've mentioned earlier.

By the way, I don't think I can call it a reward, but the Genesis Crystals shop will reset on the anniversary. So, what this means is that you can get double the amount of Genesis Crystals from your first purchase.

The main event in 5.0 will give us a free 4-star weapon. The weapon is a catalyst, and it will be a free weapon for Mualani.

We will get another 5 free 4-star weapons, but you will have to craft them first.

Now to the free character in 5.0.

Both the first patches of Sumeru and Fontaine had a free character. In 3.0, we got Collei, while in 4.0, we got Lynette.

The reason was not that Mihoyo is so generous, but because each region brings a new mechanic to the game. We got Dendro in Sumeru, Ousia and Pneuma in Fontaine, and in Natlan, we will get new mechanics called Night Soul.

Even though there is no info from beta testers about a free character in 5.0, the chances that we will get a free Kachina are very high. Otherwise, players simply won't be able to explore Natlan without the new mechanic.
