thanks for the drawing advise im one of those people that tries to do everything in my head because i have some weird belief that in the long run it will make me better at math but now when i draw it out i get 100s on my test compared to 80s

Thats Because bearings are always measured clockwise from true north. A bearing is never anti clockwise :)
