It takes real guts to take this classic rock anthem on - and so many LLB consortium members shine here, it's hard to decide who to shout out. Sure, you can study the notes on the page - but Mike and the crew get the right feeling, ambience, groove. The synth voicing and guitars are spot-on. The acapella choral intro gave me chills! One of the many things I like about LLB is that they don't look like stereotypical rockers, they look like your neighbors, your friends. Whenever you see them they make your day a little better.

I feel very qualified to critique this performance. I just went through my ticket stubs and turns out I have seen Kansas live 11 times; more than any other band. Again, Lexington Lab Band did not disappoint. Another great performance by a superb cover band. Seems there is no limit to what they can accomplish. One of these days I will travel to Lexington KY to see them live. I purchased one of their ball caps but it blew off my head this summer during a hurricane and out onto the river it went. As much as I love this band, I wasn’t jumping in the river during a hurricane to retrieve it - lol. I’ll just order another.
