Fun Fact: Halloween fish is actually a 'game bug'. Tropical fish used to be unable to have the color black (intended) but around 1.19 (don't know the exact version) they started spawning with black, so now there are 3072 variants instead of 2700.

Little trick, you can rename the bucket with the fish in it in an anvil to rename the fish inside the bucket.

You can tell if its rare if you scoop it up in a bucket and it tells you the colours. For example

Snooper
Red, blue

Instead of

Tomato clownfish (a generic one)

To those who dont realize just how rare this is (because the user didn't mention it likely also not knowing at the time); black colored fish are not supposed to spawn at all naturally. Due to some sort of bug the game still managed to spawn black against the games own rules. The odds of this happening arent clear but this adds an additional layer of randomness to the potential colors that can spawn making any black tropical fish the rarest of them all.

For any fish collectors this is an unbelievably huge deal.
