Are you responsible for a remote monitoring system that is based on asynchronous transmissions? If so, then you probably experienced moments when you didn't know if a device silence means "there are no problems" or "I am offline".
It's not efficient to simply wait for asynchronous alarm messages from your RTUs - after all, what if your network is falling apart? When a device has been silent for a long period of time, it's important to check on its status as soon as possible.
That's where pinging network elements come into play.
In this video, Andrew will explain you the basics of pinging network elements in real-world scenarios.

This feature is game changing for us. I work for one of the largest electric utilities in the country. We have Castlerock installed on a server, and our support license expired. Castle rock computing will only sell to government now. This ping target feature on the netguardians is exactly what we need. Thank you!

By popular demand, I now remain on screen without walking in/out of the shot. I satisfy my public.
