This video showed me that there is a lot more intuition to trading gaps than just candle patterns. Started with an understanding of market direction using the Q's. Evaluated gaps based on gapping out of the previous day's range with the added context of resistance and support. But then, there is also the element of shock value. This was my favorite part. A gap up with after a buy is going to probably be effected by people taking profits. This makes so much sense! Another great video!

Hey James, Thank you so much for these super informative videos! I found this video to be particularly helpful because I don’t see many videos around showing the reasoning behind how traders pick their stocks. I have (2) questions:

1) You mention that you didn’t like ARCT because it was gapping down into support and that you wouldn’t be surprised if it was bought. Can you explain why you didn’t like it?
2) You also mentioned when talking about NFLX that you liked that there was a short term bullish move into a bearish stock and then a gap down. Why was this something that you liked?

Great video! Thanks for the content! My question is when you look the procentage of the gap pre-market how you see on the chart what exactly is the price which coresponds of that gap? I only see the closed price from the day before and I can't see the pre-market change of price acording to the gap.

I watch for the same thing, but I was just wondering if you are looking for a certain limit as far as how many millions traded daily or are you just looking for the liquidity to be higher than the average?
