There are a couple of singers who have recorded this piece with higher levels of virtuosity, but the youthful joy and excitement Patricia shows here makes this by far the most appealing! She is springtime personified!

This was perfect. What a masterpiece. Everything is just right in this performance. The orchestra is impeccable, Ms. Janečková is radiant in her dress and her singing is quite simply as good as it gets for the human voice. I keep searching for this video over the years. Need to bookmark it. 7 minutes in Strauss heaven.
