I was going to get the S20 but then I found about this phone and I decided to get it, sometimes you just don't need to buy the flagship when the upper mid range performs so well! And I saved lots of money too :) smells like savings!

My wife and i both have the A71.
Best phone we have both had.
We upgraded from the s7, so the jump in quality was quite noticeable.
We looked at the s20, but its price, and the few features it has over the A71 was just not worth it.
The A71 has carved its own niche, the high end mid range phone!

Also a couple quick notes:
1.) I didn't talk about the single speaker because I harped on it in my A51 review - its the same. Its like a 6/10

Written on an A71: Don't forget to use 64MP 3:4 when using the camera, to make 9k pictures, or else it is just 4k 3:4. Not that it matters much. Also in settings 4k video and stuff...

I have the A71, the only thing I would change about it would be I wish it had 120 HZ refresh rate.

I've come to the A71 from a Huawei P20 Pro, and overall am very happy, it was being able to add a micro sd card that swung me back to Samsung, and the fact I no longer wanted to own a Chinese phone. The screen on the A71 seems much more colourful than the Huawei, and the only negative I've found so far about the Samsung, is it's nowhere near as good sound wise as the Huawei, in terms of the speaker, and loudness of ringtone and notification sounds. However the Samsung cost me half the money the Huawei did, so you've got to take that into account, but if that's something that bothers you, it's definitely something you'd have to consider. Build quality is fine, the plastic back doesn't bother me at all.

For anyone reading this in the UK, I got mine from Affordable Mobiles on O2 for £26 a month with 30gb of data! Plus there's redemption which if you remember to send it in, will cut another £102 off your contract deal. Best deal I could find by far.

finally watching this on my A71, overall I felt that this phone is worth its price, I'm happy with the battery and the processor as well as the premium design itself, I'm buying this phone over other devices solely based on its better processor, better camera, better battery, better charging speed! nice video btw keep it up
