And therefore can be destroyed by goodness. They are not competing powers, but the lack of true power. Evil does not, and can not prevail over good. Light and dark are perfect analogies.

Why light / goodness reach everywhere?

But you can’t have light without darkness and darkness without light, for every person who basks in light others meanders in darkness, there are people who simply thrive in it.

We need to reach a balance and understand that people have the same capacity for evil as they do fit good, the problem is sometimes the scale tips too much to one side and our perception of what makes someone good or evil becomes warped.

Just a thought.

Eh. Someone who is devoid of goodness isn't necessarily evil. They are just neutral.
