As far as I am aware -and this is not only based on school knowledge and education- Germans wrote their constitution. Yeah, it was supervised by the Allies past WW2, but there isn’t much that wasn’t. Good to hear and know now, that now the Americans not only brought electricity, culture, cars and fridges to Germany in 1945 and onwards (I was told that several times in my youth during a prolonged stay in the US), but also a Constitution 😂
