Maybe this is your first time ever trying a waterproof phone case but you put the case together without the phone inside first. Then place it inside a shallow bowl of water, can weigh it down with an empty coffee mug, and wait 30 minutes. Dry it off and open it back up, if the inside is completely dry only then do you put it on your phone. It’s called a water test. If the inside is wet you exchange it for a new one and do the test again.
