Great guide for someone wanting to master Terry like me, he was the first character I got to elite smash. But I'm still learning the little things and how to optimize him to the fullest potential.

I feel that Power Wave has to be one of the most underrated moves. It's amazing for forcing the opponent to act or slowing down the game, zoning a bit to apply pressure before you go in

edit: Also, down tilt. An absolutely insane move. May be one of the best down tilts in the game. It's like a Ryu and Ken down tilt except you can't misinput a heavy hit. That and you can't special cancel, but you get so many combos from it, and I think grabs are even a 50/50 out of down tilt. Insane move

To any Terry mains who are watching this video and struggle with power geyser consistency I just discovered a new way to do the input, and I saw immediate improvement. Facing right you can DI down and then go counterclockwise until either the right horizontal notch or the right down diagonal notch. I've always struggled with misinputing buster wolf instead of power geyser and this helped immensely.

I play a lot of terry and I still managed to learn some things I didn't know, specifically the holding back still makes you go forward after power dunk and that fair hits below the ledge.

I remember i got into elite smash with him back when he came out during quarentine. I recently played the game for the first time since then and am trash with him now. These DLC 2 fighters are so carried and meta changing its insane. Im trying to relearn the basics and watch riddles play them just to be able to adapt

What I love so much about terry is he is a lot like someone like falcon, because hes a rushdown hes able to push his advantage well and get so many sick combos by combining some of these shown in the video or some others even if they are not true just because he can cover options.
