A good tip for working out the units for k is to use 'M' instead of 'mol dm^-3', and then once you've cancelled everything, turn it back to 'mol dm^-3' if need be.

Where'd mols*decimeters^3 come from? We've been using mol/L*t a lot in my class, but haven't seen dm yet.

How can you determine the orders from the balanced equation to begin with?

would it not be dm-9? how comes its -6??
