Jerry's perfect home life where he never drops anything or gets made fun of is probably the best plot twist in this show.

Always liked the storyline of Jerry. Pretty decent artist, hot wife, beautiful family and obviously did well financially. Everyone around him is caught up in drama and his life is 10x better than his coworkers

fun fact : the actor that plays jerry is actually a really nice guy irl that the producers actually felt bad for making him constantly get bullied at the office, so thats why they gave him a perfect family

Story wise this makes sense. Sure Jerry is a pleasant guy, but he knows people are making fun of him. However, he comes home what can only be described as a family that would make Norman Rockwell cry tears of joy, and it doesn't matter what happened at work.

In Jerry’s home he is loved by all and treated like a king just as Ben is when he works at the accounting firm for Barney

It’s funny cuz everybody at work gives jerry a hard time. Yet he gets to go home to a beautiful wife and has 3 equally beautiful daughters who adore him.

I believe Gayle and Jerry fell in love because they both didn't care about each other appareance. I mean, even Jerry seems oblivious that his wife is considered Hot by everyone, she maybe felt loved for herself, and not just for her looks

Love that in the office Jerry is clumsy and the butt of the jokes, but at home he's dexterous, confident, and a dedicated husband and father. Jerry got the last laugh

This is when I realized how similar Gayle and Chris were. Eerily similar.

This scene is so cleverly written & acted in terms of communicating the "twist" of Jerry's home life. Because it wasn't just "Oh, Jerry has a hot wife." Instead, it unfolded in stages in a matter of a minute or two...

1) You realize that the supposed office loser has a wife who wasn't just stunning "back in her salad days, " or whatever the expression is, but is essentially ageless.
2) You then see the characters (namely Ben) mentally trying to reconcile this juxtaposition,
3) You then see his daughters and between them and his wife, you see these lively beautiful women who seem to worship the ground their husband/father walks on (again, it's not just "he has a hot wife" but his family are all genuinely thrilled with each other)...cut again to Ben still trying to reconcile this,
4) Then you see how they collectively conduct themselves (with an absurdly chipper music routine) and woman probably only could have ended up with Jerry.

I love Jerry and his family because it slams home something we constantly overlook at work: the work that's so important to you and the career you sacrifice everything for is just a job to him, and his amazing family life shows exactly where his real effort goes!
