13:06 I'd argue his breakdown in front of that kid is evidence enough that he is compassionate. His conviction of his mission simply takes precedence over that compassion. He's crying because he feels he has no other choice but to condemn the world to death. He laughs when Sasha died not because he found it funny: her last words about "food" and "meat" gave him one last reminder of good memories with her. Eren, ironically, is shackled by his yearning for freedom. At the end of the finale part 1, the group deduces Eren has the power to control all Eldians to some extent (or at the very least, Titan-shifters, if I recall correctly), yet he refuses to enslave anyone. He says he's free to proceed, and everyone else is free to try to stop him. I think this is what makes him so compelling. He definitely slots into the Nuclear Warhead as you say, though.
