Here is an AMV tutorial for total beginners on how to EASILY Mask in After Effects. Masking can take a long time and using Rotobrush is probably THE fastes way to mask.

btw hold control + press your left mouse button and move around, to in/decrease the size of the brush, so its easier to mask small details

instead of switching from H for hand and then alt + w to go back to the roto brush, you can just hold H for the hand and move around to where you want, then let go of H, and the roto brush should just automatically be there.

just hold spacebar while using roto brush to move your clip and release it will automatically change to rotobrush : )

One thing though u can get the newest version of after effects which has rotobrush 2.0 which is alot more op than the regular one combine it with this and u can probably mask the whole clip in a minute

its always easy to roto brush a high fps video like 60 or higher !!
there will be no error mostly in high fps video !!
