We all thought he could escape corruption and *find his flame*, but it seems... *The End* has come even for Sonic...

It would’ve been cool if they did something like the metallic virus where he got corrupted more and more but once he got his friends back he was fully corrupted. Then you had to play as his friends to get the emeralds to free him

Sonic's struggling idle animation fits narratively and it's cool, but it would've been cooler to have his battle pose become more robotic and erratic.

Like have him struggling, and then suddenly getting straight up when a enemy approaches, with a red twitching glow on his eyes.

I think rather than going the overdone amnesia route what I would have loved is as sonic got more corrupted his abilities or combat abilities getting stripped away as he climbed each tower on Rhea Island..like imagine how tense the tower would be without the homing attack for example..

I think Super Sonic negates the effects of the corruption. He seemed totally fine as Super, but in any other cutscene, he was limping. That's just me tho.

I really hope Sonic team can bring the whole corruption thingy to it's full potential in the upcoming DLC since it has a new story with playable characters

I feel it would be better if whoever made this mod managed to get the corrupt texture to kinda... I dunno, animate? Like keep Sonic's main texture there but then program a sort of 'layer effect' were the corrupt textures flash and/or grow/shrink and just have it loop that animation over and over. Because the way it is right now in all honestly makes Sonic look like he's a hot rod hog with a paint job, which, while cool, is just a texture switch and doesn't feel... lively? Is that the word?

you know what I'm mad about? at the beginning of the game sonic said the corruption felt like it gave him some sort of boost and that sounds like foreshadowing for a new form that its unbelievable that practically nothing was done with this subplot
i figure there were probably development issues or loss of time because it was just a missed opportunity when it comes down to it
