Through the viewfinder of Canon EOS R5 Mark II Pre-Capture

The more time I spend using the @CanonUSA #EOSR5MarkII, the more impressed I am. If you are on the fence about upgrading, DO IT! The advantages will help you capture moments and detail like never before!

I have struggled to time the decisive moment when a bird leaps into the air from its perch—not anymore! The pre-capture continuous shooting allows me to capture the moment in all the glorious detail of the 45-megapixel file. At 30 frames per second, full 14-bit Raw, it's all there.

These are the straight-camera images of an American Goldfinch leaping into the air.

I just wanted to let you know that more to come. I am working on a deep-dive video that will take you along while photographing wildlife, sharing what I see through the viewfinder and the settings I've used.
