I find the mirrorless viewfinders completelly inferior to optical ones no matter what and one of the reasons I'm thinking of buying a 6D mark ii instread.

I am SO not used to this electronic viewfinder, lol...I had the Canon 6D so this is a huge upgrade for me. I kinda wish I could disable it somehow. I the LCD screen looking like "live mode" I can get used to but the viewfinder annoys me.

Is there no way to turn off picture review within EVF and only review pix on outside screen on r6? It delays your ability to compose next shot within EVF after youve reviewed a pic on the outside screen until you half press shot button, but i cannot seem to turn off EVF pic review only off without also turning off live view in EVF Any help appreciated!

I need to use live view almost all the time for video but the screen goes black when someone's hand goes across the viewfinder. It's wayyyy too sensitive. How can I stop this but still have the viewfinder available if I need it, eg. if it's sunny?

I am getting more used to the EVF now, after a couple of months use. I still miss the viewfinder from my DSLR though. If the Exposure simulation would work I would probably forgive you, but it does not?? I have it enabled (Expo. Simulation = enable). I have tried in AV and TV mode without luck. Some other setting conflicting with it?

I can´t believe this camera only offer one memory card slot. Really Canon ???

The real view is gone, you just see a processed image. Light reflecting off water is lost, you are now one removed from the live image, a sad occurrence. Is this perhaps why DSLR sales have been so good the last year? Canon has gone down the rabbit hole. Asking all their users to change and eventually change their lenses is scrapping everything they have done. A huge gamble! I think they have shot themselves in both feet.
