It'd be good to put in front of a cheap dash cam... that does not have built in GPS... and you could use this as a cheap dash cam GPS.

Does it work like an odometer too? Could you use it as a stand alone trip/odometer?

Looking for a stand-alone odometer that’s good quality that could keep memory of overall trip/miles for like a new engine without tampering with an actual original odometer, and without plugging into the system as a new cluster (mine is fine) if that makes sense.
