As a speed monitor it performs just a good as the bigger and more expensive models and overall is just a great device. HOW DO YOU CALIBRATE THE SPEED ?

1. Press and Hold the M Button to enter the Settings menu
2. You need the first setting, which is Option 1, so you should see parameter 107 displayed now (in Kmh mode)
3. Now adjust the speed accuracy. e.g if Speedo displays 100Kmh but HUD displays 105Kmh then by default the algorithm should be 107-5=102 so simply change it to 102 or the required value that you need.
4. Press and Hold the M Button to Save your changes and Exit

HOW DO YOU CHANGE IT FROM KPH TO MPH ?

1. Press and Hold the M Button to enter the Settings menu
2. Now your In the settings menu choose Option 5
3. Change Parameter value from the default value which is '0' to '1'
4. Press and Hold the M Button to Save your changes and Exit
NOTE: 0=Kph and 1= Mph

I recently bought this unit and took it for a spin in my car on the freeway. It is displaying a speed reading of around 4 to 5km slower than both GPS speedo apps on my phone.

How does the display look like to other drivers? Is it easy for them to read and discern it at higher brightness? Could the light potentially distract others at night? I appreciate the review over a niche product

Hey mate, can you show us how to turn up the speed alarm to 50? I have disabled the sound. Also the speed read is a bit delayed on the hud. It usually shows about 5kph below the real time speed and takes like a good 2 or 3 seconds to catch up. Works perfectly if you are maintaining speed tho. Can you show me how to make it in sync with the real time speed? Thanks! Usually it reads 5kph below the real time speed and takes some time to catch up.

Any tips on the device reflecting the sun back into my eyes?

Probably a factor of my cars design but I found it multiple times reflected the sun into the reflective sticker which in turn reflected it straight into my eyes which I found to be less than ideal.

I do see a red satellite on the display is it not grabbing the satellite or do I need to reboot or something

My unit, shipped to me in the US
has a Speed reading default of MPH,
so I don't need to change from '0' to '1'
luckily, since it is difficult to see the
button icons.
