The “staggered” setting is a great idea! Love string blocks, hate pulling off papers. I often make them on a muslin foundation, but find that sometimes the quilts feel a bit heavy. Thanks for your video!

That's a great idea to stagger the strips like that. Watching some of the tutorials on making strip sets that end up wasting so much fabric has kept me from trying it. Thanks for this!

I love the cute fabrics that you use in your quilting tutorials! Also, I love the way you made the string quilt block without using a foundation paper or fabric! Great idea!!! Personally I would want to sew my strips onto a piece of fabric with batting in-between so that I could "quilt-as-I-go" for each block. This is called the "Quilt-As-You-Go" method that I am sure you are probably already familiar Thanks for such a great tutorial!!!
