My daughter and I LOVED this movie. I have been having a lot of health issues this year and I am recovering from a surgery, spent some time in the hospital. My daughter did cry when the dad was in the hospital, but she wasn’t depressed and she wasn’t traumatized. She got to see her reality played out for her on the big screen in a beautiful way.

I go to a theater to escape reality, not be thrown into sadness. The theater was literally full of people crying. I don’t get it.

I honestly feel the story couldnt decide if it was a fun movie or a coming of age movie....Its like putting your pet down and 10 minutes later going out to disneyland...

I think i overall enjoyed the movie. Probably wouldn't rewatch it but my fave chara was the detective IF, cosmo. I was def thinking it would be a happier movie when i went into it, but it was depressing seeing all the people who gave up on their dreams (dancing, detectives, probably art). I almost cried when the grandma started dancing :( i think they went too far on the feels with both parents being gone and hospitalized.

I agree with you completely my friend, but Let's look at the bright side😄, at least kids movies have very slightly been improving since the covid days. 😳😳😳

I would have rather watched Rookie of the year for the 100th time versus this movie. Why did they make this film so dark?

It’s awful. Sad and boring. Don’t bring kids under 12 to this if you don’t want them running around in boredom within 5 minutes. It’s too bad, I had high hopes for this one.
