First Time In Morelia Michoacan Trying Typical Mexican Sweets 🇲🇽

We spent some time in the state of Michoacan, a state that currently is experiencing extreme levels of violence which means pretty much no international tourists there.

We tried a few different types of typical traditional morelia sweets which we really enjoyed but were so sweet.

Hope we can show what the city of Morelia is like we had a top time there.

Despite all the warnings we received to stay away from the state we couldn't be happier that we made it there. The people we met were all amazing and the state has so much natural beauty 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽

Looks like another fantastic place to visit. Would say it’s different to Blackburn in that the rough edges in Blackburn are all in a mile radius of the town & the outskirts are much nicer 😁

Have you guys realized that the tacos are different there that in Mexico City? I mean the tacos are the same, but its flavor and style changes on each State on Mexico. I think that's magic and the sweet desserts and the bread are BOM!!😋

And don’t forget to try the carnitas in Michoacán (a lot of tourist go to Quiroga to try the carnitas from “don Carmelo”, do t do that, they are famous but kind of bad, you can find really good ones in Morelia or Pátzcuaro, or Quiroga (Only mention those places because are close to you, there are other places for good carnitas but a bit far) but in other places other than Carmelos (in Quiroga Carnitas Olivo or Carnitas Ayala).

In Michoacan you need to try they typical food.

Corundas, uchepos, aporreadillo, sopa tarasca.

And you need to try the fruit cocktail Gaspacho.

Every Saturday night they have fireworks at the cathedral.

Hey! We just went to Morelia! Very nice city, good and nice energy!! We had such a great time riding with 10 people in a large bicycle 😅😆👍🏼, they are next to the church, we took the ride in the evening when the sun goes down. You shoud go to Pátzcuaro / Janitzio as sellado, it is about 30 mins from Morelia, such a nice and quite town!! There is a church from 12 century and a mountain where you can see the whole town and Janitizio lake 🤙🏼Finally don’t miss to see “The dance of the little old man” La danza de los viejitos 👌🏼🔥👍🏼 Have a nice trip!!!

The ideal use of Ate is mixing slices of it with slices of cheese. Ate and cheese is the dessert in some places. I don't like to eat sweet without a contrast or something salty without a slice of pineapple or something.

The dangerous parts are in the distant rural areas, not the surveilled cities
