Показать описание
Homemade honey butter in 5 minutes or less! You need just three basic ingredients (and I’d bet you can guess what at least two of them are 😉)!

Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened (226g)
½ cup honey (118ml)
½ teaspoon finely ground sea salt

Instructions
00:00 Introduction
00:19 Place butter in a mixing bowl and use an electric mixer to beat until creamy.
00:43 Drizzle in honey and sea salt and stir again until ingredients are completely combined.
01:35 Serve.

Notes:
Storing
Store in an airtight container. Honey butter will keep for up to 5 days at room temperature or up to a month in the refrigerator.
Cinnamon Honey Butter
Add ½-1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (adjust according to preference, start with less and add more if desired) and ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract.
Maple Butter
Replace the honey with ⅓ cup (80ml) of maple syrup.

First restaurant I ever worked at made us prep honey butter before each shift. We hated that side work more than anything. Now that I'm almost forty I love it! Thank you for this, and keep it coming! Best wishes, Derek.

I just love how you always scrape down liquid ingredients, I find it satisfying. Most recipe videos just dump in liquid ingredients without scraping the cup and I cringe because there's so much left in the cup, though I know they might've done it off cam but still.. am I making sense? Lol. Thank you for sharing your amazing recipes, gonna try this on toast!

I made this & I spread it on toast & I had the feeling that using unsalted butter isn’t as flavorful as using salted butter even when I added the sea salt to it. So the next time I make it, I will use salted butter & maybe omit the sea salt to see how that will taste on toast. But I hope you still don’t recommend unsalted for this recipe for me every time I make it even though I most likely will like salted butter for this recipe better than unsalted.

That was the secret I learned... that little bit out salt ads a subtle dimension.

What would you use honey butter on? I have never even heard of people making this. Like a croissant or something?

I've never had European style butter before, do you find it has that extra bit of tanginess from the fermentation?

Omg. Ok. First let me say I like your video. But.... I am so furious that I have been looking for 45 mins for a how to video or instruction on how to make "home made" honey butter and all I get is this cheat method. It's very annoying. Can you make a video of how to make butter from heavy cream then put honey in it to make actual homemade honey butter? I know how to make butter but how much honey do I put into it? How about garlic and chive butter?
