Lure Color Blending Quick Tips - Airbrushing Tips for Beginners

This is just a quick video on how to blend different brands of paint to create smooth blending transitions between primary colors. I used the color yellow for this video but the same principles can be applied with reds, blues, violets and greens.

If you are new to lure painting this is probably one of the best tools you can have. When I first started painting fishing lures I was so excited that I jumped in and started painting lure blanks without even thinking I may have to reproduce that lure again. A year later I wished I had this log book back then, because after painting a couple hundred lures sometimes remembering the colors I used, or where I even ordered the blank from became a problem.
