Heat shrinking the wires....I'm famous (infamous?) for doing a bang up soldering joint...absolutely perfect....then looking at the bench and seeing the nice little pieces of heat shrink lying there....I keep forgetting to slide the damn things in PRIOR to soldering

If I had the gumption I'd work on creating heat shrink that can be applied AFTER the wires have been soldered!

I like to see how you’re protecting everything while you work on it. Like when you let that front piece drop, you had a blanket underneath ready. So many of these types of videos, the guys treat the parts as if they are worthless, dropping them on cement etc.

Lou, I can't begin to say how much of a help this has been to me! I am just starting down the same road with a GT4, but it is so similar that this is all so useful. I think it's smart of you to keep the hood upstairs away from everything else to minimize risk of damage. Car Wizard does the same thing and was talking about it in a recent video. He also talked about his distributor delete ignition module from Nick Ford's Ferrari which uses a XDI module that helps to simplify things and keep things more reliable. You may have mentioned this in a recent video but I wouldn't be surprised if this is in the works.
